I2R Nanowave, Inc. (a Delaware Registered Company) was established in 2011 with an R&D center in Atlanta, GA focused on MMIC and high power device designs. In 2014, a design and manufacturing facility was opened in Macungie, Pennsylvania. The company is focused on the design, development, build to print, and product manufacture serving the microwave and optoelectronics industries. The company is ITAR registered and certified to the AS9001C quality standard.
Microwave and Photonic Assemblies
Building on our capabilities from chip design, to advanced thin film substrates, to synthesizers and amplifiers, we integrate multiple RF functions into single assemblies. Our bare-die designs minimize losses in RF transitions and reduce size while improving efficiency. We provide integrated designs for up and down converters, broadband systems, T/R modules, and other integrated functional assemblies. Our wafer level procurement allows us to control obsolescence concerns while improving performance. We can also re-engineer existing solutions that are no longer available upgrading performance and relieving obsolescence issues. From device design to final assembly qualification, I2R Nanowave provides a complete solution optimizing your time and efforts. I2R Nanowave also supports ITAR restricted manufacture of photonics and integrated optical assemblies.
Solid state power amplifiers
I2R Nanowave has extensive experience delivering high power pulsed and CW amplifiers based on the latest GaN and GaAs technologies for radar, defense, communication, industrial and scientific applications. We use our proprietary power combiner technology to generate high efficiency and reliability for designs up to 10s of kilowatts and frequencies to Ka-Band. All amplifiers are hermetically sealed and qualified to MIL-STD-883 standards. Whether you need a simple power brick or an integrated amplifier with full power, controls and monitoring, we have the experience to deliver products that exceed your expectations for size, weight, power and cost.
We provide single frequency synthesizers for radar STALO applications or broadband, fast switching synthesizers for applications such as signal identification. Low close-in phase noise allows better Doppler sensitivity and lower noise floors, while proprietary high-coherence circuitry provides better clutter rejection for radar applications. All packaging is military standard and hermetic for wide environmental suitability and based on proprietary low-g sensitivity designs for airborne and missile application.
